Leo Burnett Group Malaysia Crowned Overall Agency of the Year

Kuala Lumpur, 10th May 2016 - Leo Burnett Group Malaysia was crowned Overall Agency of the Year Award, at the client-judged Advertising + Marketing Agency of the Year Awards held in Kuala Lumpur recently. Leo Burnett Group Malaysia was in competition with 93 shortlisted agencies in 14 categories.

Speaking about the multiple wins, Tan Kien Eng, the Chief Executive Officer of Leo Burnett Group Malaysia, said, “We are honored to be crowned the Overall Agency of the Year Award for the 4th time. This is a huge accomplishment for us as we were judged and selected by senior client marketers. Our team believes in working in partnership with our clients to deliver the best.”

Leo Burnett Group Malaysia also had a successful run at the Campaign Asia-Pacific 2015 Agency of the Year awards, winning for three years the title of Creative Agency of the Year. We also emerged as the Gold winner for South East Asia Specialist Agency of the Year and South East Asia PR Agency of the Year. The latter is the group’s third consecutive win since 2013.

This is the Awards’ seventh edition since it started in 2010 as an agency awards program judged solely by client marketers. Nineteen senior client marketers representing brands such as BMW Group Malaysia, Celcom Axiata, Samsung Malaysia Electronics, and Tenaga Nasional among others, took part in the judging process this year.
